In my professional life, Cindy taught me how to handle "those" co-workers and the frustrations that come along with working with one (or more!) of them. Furthermore, she indulged my appreciation for cute, colorful things and personally devised a color-coded organizational tool for me to use at work. These tools, in cunjunction with my previously unrealized humor and determination, helped me to not only do my job, but kick butt at it! Several months after my work with Cindy began, I received a monetary award from my employer, a job promotion and a distinguished award for my work accomplishments; something that I never imagined possible. I now realize that my own personal growth not only positively affects me, but it is appreciated by those around me.
Cindy's genuine care for her clients shines through in her dedication to their success and happiness. She is not just a human self-help book; she is an individual truly dedicated to helping others. She doesn't just "check out" when our meeting is over, she continues to search for the tools and resources to assist me in meeting my goals. Her contagious sense of humor inspires me to let the little things go and appreciate the simple joys of life. I've gone from disorganized chaos to sustainable order, from insecure to confident, and from aimless to driven. I've realized through my work with Cindy that, with a few small changes, a bit of determination, and a dash of optimism, when life throws that annoying curveball, I can stand firm and catch it instead of cowering behind my mitt.

Our Division I women's volleyball program thoroughly enjoyed and greatly benefitted from Cindy Boyd's expertise in the field of sports psychology. The athletes received practical, easy-to-use information from Cindy as she worked with them individually and as a group to improve their preparation, focus and intensity during performance. Cindy's extensive knowledge of what motivates us, what helps us learn, as well as strategies to make changes in our lives was instrumental in our program's success. She was particularly instrumental in giving tools to athletes to help them "move past" a previous mistake. The athletes as well as the coaches all learned a great deal from Cindy as she approached our young, high-achieving group with her professional, yet relaxed, informed and humorous approach to mental skill development.

I began working with Cindy when I was experiencing transition in both my personal and professional life. She helped me to identify which direction I wanted to travel in navigating these changes and where I wanted to end up. She guided me in confronting and resolving the issues that blocked my path, and provided me with tools I can use to resolve other issues that arise in my life. Cindy's wisdom and experience provided a safe and supportive environment, and I recommend her to anyone who is looking to affect positive change in their life.
